Bel Ombre, in the south of Mauritius, is now recognized as a territorial brand. A destination that reinvented itself to showcase the full force of its natural beauty. The goal was to respond to this desire to be part of this new way of life, and to create awareness of the brand, both regionally and internationally, and become a unique territory that stands out from the rest, and set the standard regionally and internationally.
We developed a visual identity capable of combining a natural, historical, modern and authentically Mauritian feel. As an umbrella brand, Bel Ombre’s visual identity was designed in order to accommodate other identities. A label was conceived as an endorsement and labelling signature to enrich the graphic and visual universe of the brand, and a rich palette of vibrant colours has been defined to highlight the various elements of nature, emblematic of the territory.
