The West emerged in the wake of an initiative to turn the western region of Mauritius into a territorial brand. Defined as a land of endless possibilities, The West revamps the Mauritian art of living, offering a range of authentic and immersive experiences, that aim at highlighting the best of the west coast. The ambition was to reveal and promote this new destination, and create a single film capable of portraying a multitude of experiences.
To effectively promote and bring to life the destination, OXO imagined a campaign that could not only invite Mauritians to rediscover this famed region, but to also communicate the emergence of this new brand. With an effective brand positioning strategy, we were able to fashion a recognisable and distinct image on social media as well as extending the accessibility to a wider audience.
